All The Bells That Ever Rang, Still Ringing in The Long Dyeing Rays of Light, Faulkner

The media has become a sickening display of mendacity and hatefulness as displayed by CNN nightly by unprofessional news jerks.  It can turn ones stomach to see how low commentators and news mamaluks have fallen to, so that they attain a niche in the world of media, by hook or outright crookedness.  They are commenting on 1/100th of 1 per cent of the America Scene, boring everyone with their nightly hatefulness and insults of the presidency and have created a den of mendacity, the likes of which journalism has not seen since Abraham Lincoln was elected to the presidency.
Nefarious characters like the black hooded gang that now shows up at free speech demonstrations and pretend to be anti white supremacists.  They are the essence of a new gang and exhibit the cowardice that marks and tags all gang members.  The beaten to near death guy who appeared on Fox News recently was attacked by 5 members of these black hooded cowards and beaten senseless until a brave guy covered his body with his own and held them off from the edge of manslaughter.  This kind of creeping cowardice has been a mark of gang membership for a long time. In the late 60's I witnessed Hells Angels at Chocolate George's wake, swarm a black guy with 6 members of the Angels pounding him out of the building.  I never saw a one on one fight, from any gang group in San Francisco.
The Hurricane Harvey in Texas has shown us the goodness of people in the central part of America.  People are by the thousands coming to the rescue of their fellow citizens whether they are strangers or neighbors, and embracing an old fashioned idea, to love and be kind to fellow human beings.  It is a badge of courage being displayed on national TV, and gives hope that America has never really lost its deeply moral values and passion for doing good and survival, and kindness to human beings that are wracked to near oblivion by a once in 1000 year freak of nature.
The president Trump, on Saturday, 9/2 was seen holding little children, black, brown and white, comforting them like a grandfather, talking hope to those that lost their homes and all they had worked for, sweat, blood and tears, for their entire lives, to be swept and blown away in a matter of hours. It looks like God has stepped in with representatives of the best of people in The US of A.  If it doesn't make you well up with salty tears, in the words of the famous and great character actor Paul Newman, "Go take a nap in a urinal".  Thank god the U S is still blessed with people with a huge depth of character in the heartland of the nation, between Washington D C and Holly Weird, hopefully they both are looking for the same urinal.
